We work with business owners and founders looking to exit or partially exit, and are willing to take an active role in helping an existing or new management team take the business to the next level.
We are private investors, not a fund that is dictated by entry or exit timelines and returns. We look at what is best for the long term success of the business, its employees, customers and stakeholders.
WHO WE ARE
BrightStar Capital was founded by Bob Taylor and Tom Billings in 2013. We have extensive experience of growing businesses having setup, run and exited our own.
BrightStar Capital are financially savvy entrepreneurs, not financiers or accountants, providing a flexible solution to succession planning. We approach investments with an entrepreneurial mind set, working alongside management teams to support transformational growth.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We look for businesses in growth sectors with strong, defendable margins and a USP or point of differentiation to their offering.

We are often involved in helping a business transform itself from a founder / entrepreneur led business seeking to become a larger, more rounded and stable organisation.
In a busy organisation change can be hard to make happen. We often work by coordinating key team members and drawing on our experience in developing organisational culture, management process and talent.
